Who We Are

Mawa Sidibe McQueen is from France. After getting her degree in hotel and restaurant management in Paris, she moved to England where she worked as assistant restaurant manager in the famous Shakespearean restaurant in Stratford upon Avon. Later she became food and beverage manager at the Heritage Hotel in London. Mawa then moved to Maine to open an upscale fish restaurant, Stripers, and worked at the White Barn Inn where former president George Bush senior and family were delighted by her service. To avoid Main’s harsh winters, Mawa moved to Aspen to join the Little Nell team, where she also worked with different catering companies.
She is a creative individual with flexible and a new approach to hospitality service that makes her unique in the industry. Her inspiration comes from all of the places where she has lived.

Mirka Pawlitkova-Gamarra comes from Czech Republic with degree in hospitality. She has traveled throughout Europe extensively, where she worked as a tour guide for five years. Upon visiting Aspen she fell in love with the area and decided to stay. Before becoming a property manager for several prestigious clients in Aspen she worked for several restaurants and catering companies where she mastered skills. Her focus and attention to detail speaks for itself.
